Larry Helweg has more than fourty years experience in the field of high vacuum technology, ranging from space simulation to semi-conductor manufacturing. He began teaching at IBM's prestigious East Fishkill facility more than thirty-five years ago. He received several company awards for his efforts in high vacuum education at all levels from equipment operators to process and equipment engineers. Throughout his career, he has taught at nearly all of IBM's North American manufacturing facilities. He has received accolades for his course at dozens of fortune 500 companies, many of whom have him return, year after year.
Larry has taught this course on virtually every continent on the globe. His course has been seen by an estimated 10,000 individuals and many have gone on to be the leaders in their fields working in the companies considered to be the leading edge producers in high-tech equipment throughout the world.
