Larry
Helweg has more than thirty years experience in the field of High
Vacuum Technology, ranging from space simulation to semi-conductor
manufacturing.
He began teaching at IBM's prestigious East Fishkill facility more
than 20 years ago. He received numerous company awards for his
expertise in high vacuum technology as well as his ability to
effectively teach individuals who are involved at all levels of
applied surface science and thin films from equipment operators to
process and equipment engineers.
Throughout his career, he has taught his course at virtually all of
IBM's North American manufacturing facilities. He has
received accolades for his course at dozens of fortune 500 companies
throughout the world, many of whom have him return on an annual
basis - allowing generations of their employees to benefit from his
lectures.
Using text books that he has authored for the sole purpose of his
lectures, and the experience of thousands of hours of lecturing
behind him, individuals who have participated in his courses and
lectures have come away with experience, not just information.
